Book of comparisons — Magazine

By Alen Vuletić / On

We can compare this book with the way we are explaining the world to ourselves and ourselves to the world.

When they’re conceiving movements of modern dance they are thinking how to express, for instance, moon with a body gesture . Writers explain their inner state with the feeling of morning mountain freeze, or the gooseflesh you get form the
cold ocean. Designers are presenting complex ideologies with the simplest geometric shapes…

Everything is language.

And the way that language is created is the process of comparing. It follows that everything is comparison. Everything imitates everything and that’s how we create new things. Nothing disappears forever, often it just changes it’s form.

Comparison is the beginning of each creation.
Comparison is demistification.
Comparison is understanding.
